Lake Powell Resorts & Marinas, an ARAMARK-managed property, has added 49 new RV spaces, 34 of which are pull-through spaces, including full hook-up capabilities, and a new amphitheatre to its Wahweap RV Park and Campground in Glen Canyon National Recreation Area.
“Lake Powell Resorts & Marinas is continually committed to providing enhanced vacation options for visitors,” said Dan Resmondo, ARAMARK district manager, Lake Powell Resorts & Marinas, in a press release. “These new services and amenities combined with our existing state-of-the-art guest facilities and stunning views of the Lake make the Wahweap Campground one of the premier RV and campground facilities in the national park system.”
The Wahweap RV Park and Campground now offers guests a total of 139 full hook-up RV spaces, including 60 pull through spaces. All the spaces in the RV park are more than 45 feet long; 60 of them are more than 70 feet long and able to accommodate a large RV and boat. Additionally, the spaces are uniquely staggered to provide guests with a feeling of spaciousness and privacy within the sites. Part of the new RV park also includes side by side, pull-through spaces, ideal for groups traveling together with multiple vehicles.
The amphitheater was erected to host National Park Service Ranger programs.
The new sites added to the Wahweap RV Park are located on the west side of the existing facility, near the Stateline boat ramp and boat rental facilities.
