AllStays.com Launches New Calif. Site
AllStays.com has launched a new interactive way of finding a campground in California at www.allstays.com.
Already using Google Maps for showing camping by city, the Kingman, Ariz.-based company has created a single large map of the state showing hundreds of campgrounds and RV parks stats.
“By going live with this new format, we allow you to look at a glance over a wide area and make your plans,” Adam Longfellow, company president, said in a press release.
Users zoom in or out, click on an icon and bring up the phone number, address and direct link to the park’s website if one exists.
AllStays.com lists California campgrounds and RV parks at all levels, from state parks and RV resorts to hike-in Bureau of Land Management and National Forest campgrounds.
“We are constantly adding more campgrounds and verifying information each year or as it changes,” he added. “California has wildfires and other natural events that lead to closures occasionally so we always recommend calling ahead before you arrive. We provide the direct phone numbers for that purpose. We have other map pages on the site that include things like truck stops, supply stores and food stores to go along with this. We want to provide everything a travel planner will need in an easy to use manner. This same format will be built out for most of the United States.”
AllStays.com has been online since 2000 and lists all kinds of lodging worldwide, from bed & breakfasts to yoga retreats and luxury hotels, from primitive campgrounds to motels, haunted hotels and spa resorts. AllStays also has links directly to official websites.
