A tour of the top-rated Rayford Crossing RV Resort in Spring, Texas, is part of the annual fall meeting of the Texas Association of Campground Owners (TACO) on Oct. 14.
In addition to the park tour and a debriefing with the owners following the tour, members are scheduled to discuss a completely renovated TACO member website that will go live later this year. The new site will feature many new areas of support for members, including a “help page” where members will find relevant articles, forms and legislation that affect the running of parks.
Including in the planned postings are safety rules and regulations, monthly site agreements, how to implement theft of service laws and procedures and how to apply for electrical tax rebates.
Also on tap for the fall meeting will be a roundtable discussion on a new coalition health care program that features savings for association parks.
Ron Hinkle, TACO’s paid consultant from the Ratliff Co., will provide a legislative update.
