Winds, Pine Beetles, Close 2 Colo. Parks

Two popular campgrounds around Lake Dillon in Colorado’s Summit County were closed over the Labor Day weekend, according to CBS Ch. 4, Denver.
One campground locked its gates due to high winds, while pine beetles closed down the other campground.
Crews are cutting down dead trees infected by pine beetles to try to reduce fire danger.
“It’s sad, you know, but it’s nature,” said a long-time camper from Illinois.
