AGI Announces Partnership with Digital Rez
Affinity Group Inc. (AGI) announced on Wednesday (Oct. 3) the formation of a strategic alliance with Digital Rez International Inc., the world’s leading provider of campground and RV park management and reservation software.
According to a press release, the long-term agreement extends AGI’s RVTripsetter brand to the more than 3,000 RV parks and campgrounds in the Digital Rez network. AGI said that the partnership will offer a “total campground operating system,” providing park owners with Internet-based front desk management along with access to AGI’s extensive camping member and subscriber base.
“This is a natural evolution in our ongoing strategy to provide a full-service solution to all RV parks, campgrounds and resorts who serve the camping public,” said Joe Daquino, AGI senior vice president. “Working with Digital Rez, we will now be able to provide the best software, support and marketing channels, reaching the largest network of camping enthusiasts.”
Digital Rez will be re-branding its mainstream camping software systems to align with the RVTripsetter product. Plans are to release the package to all of its RV and camping resorts in the fourth quarter of 2007.
In addition, Digital Rez will be gearing its support and development staff to provide new features to its online reservation systems, property management networks and credit card processing services for RV park and campground operations worldwide.
