Minnesota Campgrounds Had Good Season
Main speaker Karl Mulle, a psychotherapist and motivational lecturer from Edina, Minn., talked about the challenge of keeping a positive attitude in the workplace during the Minnesota Resort & Campground Association’s Fall Conference, Oct. 22-24, at Arrowwood Resort and Conference Center in Alexandria, Minn.
Some 120 people representing about 40 campgrounds attended the conference, which featured a dozen educational seminars on subjects that included tax certification, e-marketing and website development, becoming an environmentally sensitive campground and licensing and inspections.
“The campgrounds did well during the season,” said Krista Skogen, education and events manager.
