It’s not too late to sign up to attend the National School of RV Park & Campground Management.
There are a few openings in years one and two of the Management School and the Graduate Program. The school, a project of the National Association of RV Parks & Campgrounds (ARVC) Foundation, is being held Feb. 19 – 24 at the Oglebay Institute in Wheeling, W.Va.
The school is a 50-hour, intensive two-year program conducted one week each year. The school offers park owners, operators and managers a structured program covering a wide array of management and operations topics, including finance and administration, marketing, customer service, recreation management, maintenance, personnel management and retail and food service operations.
Students who attend both years accumulate 50 of the 75 credits necessary to obtain their Certified Park Operator (CPO) accreditation.
Those who complete the graduate program receive 15 credits toward their CPO certification or re-certification.
To register, call (304) 243-4126 or for more information visit www.campgroundschool.org.
The ARVC Foundation is the non-profit organization established by ARVC for the primary purpose of providing educational opportunities in RV park and campground operation to ARVC members.
