TengoInternet, the oldest and largest wireless Internet service provider for the outdoor hospitality industry, has expanded its relationship with the Houston-based Camden Hospitality Group.
Recently, TengoInternet completed a successful conversion of the three hotels and a new property in Grand Prairie, Texas, to the Hyatt Place brand, according to a news release. This conversion required adherence to numerous Hyatt requirements related to Internet service, including full wireless coverage in the guest rooms, conference rooms and common areas, wired first floor rooms, an E-Room with over-the-Internet printing and support for future voice-over-Internet-protocol applications.
“Because of our strong relationship and capabilities, Camden Hospitality Group relied on our team to define and meet the Hyatt brand Internet requirements, coordinating with Hyatt personnel, the hotel staff and the construction teams across four locations,” said Eric Stumberg, CEO and co-founder of Austin, Texas-based TengoInternet. “We will continue to help Camden increase value in their hotel properties.”
While well known within the outdoor hospitality industry for providing Wi-Fi service to hundreds of RV parks and campgrounds, TengoInternet also provides Wi-Fi service to over a dozen hotels in seven states. The Camden Hospitality Group hired TengoInternet to provide Wi-Fi service to guests at three Texas hotels in Austin, Houston and San Antonio since 2006.
TengoInternet is the largest high-speed wireless internet and video service provider to the outdoor hospitality industry. Headquartered in Austin, Texas, TengoInternet delivers turnkey Wi-Fi solutions for hundreds of campgrounds, hotels and marinas throughout North America.
