Perdido Cove RV Resort to Open In June
Innisfree Hotels and Development, owner and operator of hotels throughout the Southeast, is venturing off its normal path of hotel and condominium development by opening in June the Perdido Cove RV Resort and Marina, located in Pensacola, Fla.
The new resort will feature 75 RV sites offering full hookups with 30/50-amp electrical service, sewer hookups and water. In addition to these utilities, the resort will provide cable TV, Wi-Fi Internet service, swimming pool, shuffle board court, basketball, horse shoes, community building for rally groups with kitchen facilities, general merchandise store, laundry and bath house facilities. Also, a 24-slip, deep-water marina, fishing deck, water viewing deck and party platform, sandy beach on the Intercostal Waterway and fully landscaped, oversized sites featuring concrete patios and individual picnic tables are planned. Premium waterfront Super Sites will accommodate the largest of the new wave of deluxe motorhomes with lots averaging over 70 feet long.
“It has been our goal to continue providing superior facilities for all aspects of the hospitality industry and the Perdido RV Resort and Marina is our newest venture,” said Eli White, managing director for the Innisfree Outdoor Hospitality Division, in a news release. “The resort will offer full vacation services and be available year-round in one of the most beautiful beachfront communities in Northwest Florida.”
Not only is the campground located in a prime area less than a half-mile from the Gulf of Mexico, the facility will include level camp sites, wide-paved inner campground roads, and is across the street from the Lost Key Golf Club, he said. The marina will accommodate boats up to 40 feet in length and has access to the Gulf of Mexico for the avid fisherman. The park is less than 20 miles from I-10 by way of Blue Angel Parkway.
In addition to the 75 campsites and 24 boat slips, the resort will also have seven townhomes available for families wanting to sample the campground atmosphere but who haven’t purchased a motorhome or travel trailer.
