Wildfire Rousts Campground Guests

A wildfire north of downtown Zephyrhills, Fla., forced some people to evacuate their homes early Thursday (March 20), according to tbo.com, Tampa.
The fire broke out about 3:15 a.m. near Kozy Acres Campground and Mobile Homes Park. The fire quickly went to two alarms, and dozens of people fled.
Firefighters from the Zephyrhills Fire Department, Pasco Fire Rescue and the Division of Forestry took about two hours to get the flames under control. The fire burned 20 to 30 acres, officials said.
All northbound lanes of U.S. 301 were closed while firefighters battled the flames.
There’s no word on what caused the fire.
