Daquino Named to Head Affinity Clubs
Affinity Group Inc. (AGI), the nation's largest provider of outdoor recreation clubs, services, media and events, has promoted Joe Daquino to president of Affinity Clubs. Daquino's new position complements and expands his current role as senior vice president and group publisher for Affinity's Multimedia Division, according to a news release.
During a 24-year career with Affinity, Daquino has performed many roles. Joining the company as an agent in its call center, he began an ascent up the corporate ladder in marketing roles, culminating in responsibility for the Multimedia Division and all Affinity interactive media. The Multimedia Division is comprised of the leading campground directories in the market – The Trailer Life RV Parks, Campgrounds & Services Directory and Woodall's North American Campground Directory – while Affinity Interactive Media Group creates and maintains all Affinity websites and implements all online marketing activity. He is also responsible for the operations of Affinity Guest Services in Port Angeles, Wash., an industry leader in quality production of guest services guides.

He combines these attributes with a keen sense of creative problem solving and innovation in new product offerings, all of which are essential to his latest position," said Mike Schneider, AGI president and CEO.
Affinity Clubs, including the Good Sam Club, Coast to Coast, Camp Club USA, RV Handyman Club and Golf Card International, is the largest consumer group of organized outdoor recreation clubs with a combined membership base of more than 1.5 million families. In addition to Daquino's role supervising all club elements, he will also oversee the Member Services/Customer Contact Department and all support operations.
Daquino earned bachelor's degrees in psychology and English from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. He also received his MBA from Pepperdine University in Malibu, Calif.
He resides in Hollywood, Calif. He is active in a number of industry-based organizations, and also sits on the board of Management Action Programs, a management consulting firm.
