The Architectural Review Committee for Half Moon Bay, Calif., Wednesday (May 21) called for further study after an initial peek at plans for an RV park west of Highway 1 that would be geared toward “eco-tourists.”
While the 3-0 vote to continue the discussion to the next meeting is a setback, the project will continue, according to the Half Moon Bay Review and Pescadero Pebble.
Brothers Cameron and Kevin Palmer, well-known coastside businessmen, presented plans for the “Birds of Paradise” park. The project previously had been well received by the city; the City Council has already approved a rezoning to allow the project. Plans call for 55 TV sites and 20 cottages to rent.
