A group of investors reports it has finalized the purchase of Adventure Out RV Park in Dickinson, Texas, with plans for a multimillion-dollar makeover.
The new owners, going by the name Adventure I-45 Ltd., plan to make the 52-space park more eco-friendly, said Dr. Duc C. Vuong, who also is a Texas City surgeon specializing in weight loss procedures, according to the Galveston County Daily News.
In several phases, the new owners plan to add such amenities as a solar-heated indoor swimming pool, walking trails, on-site recycling and a “back to nature” feel. In one of the last phases, each RV site will be individually solar-powered and include equipment to capture and reuse water.
The park is located midway between Houston and Galveston.
