The Branson, Mo., KOA Campground has created a unique way for RVers to save while they camp in June.
Campers who stay for seven consecutive nights at the Branson KOA will be reimbursed $50 for their fuel costs. It gets better the longer the stay. Campers who stay for two weeks will receive $125; a three-week stay will net campers $200; and those who stay for a month will receive a $400 rebate, according to a news release.
Even seasonal campers who stay for two months or more can get in on the action, with a total reimbursement of $500 per month on their fuel costs.
"We know that everyone is feeling the strain of higher fuel prices," said Branson KOA owner Ralph Newell. "But that's no reason not to continue to enjoy camping. We don't care if you're coming from across the country or from just down the street, your fuel reimbursement will be waiting."
The reimbursements will be awarded at check-out time, and are good on any stay of at least seven consecutive nights on any RV site at the campground, subject to availability. Advanced reservations are required, and no other special offers may apply. However, standard KOA Value Kard Rewards discounts will be honored on all qualified nights.
