A new 120-site, eco-friendly RV park is being proposed by developers Jim Moore and Dan Pope for Westville, Fla.
The developers outlined their plans for Westville Outpost RV Park to the Westville City Council on June 3, according to the Holmes County Times Advertiser, Cottondale, Fla.
The park would be at the intersection of S.R. 181 and Interstate 10 and serve larger, upscale RVs. The park would offer a restaurant, public laundry facility, fuel services both for RVs and other customers and other services.
Phase I would be the development of about eight acres of commercial-zoned property on about 1,000 feet of highway footage. Developers are applying for a Community Development Block Grant for $600,000, and under the terms of the grant they must provide 17-18 permanent jobs within a certain time limit. Development of the rest of the 30.75-acre site would provide up to 120 RV spaces.
