Darrell Hess & Associates Sell 250th Campground

Darrell Hess & Associates recently sold their 250th campground.
The Waynesville, N.C.-based commercial real estate firm orchestrated the sale of the KOA at Fayetteville/Wade, N.C., campground from sellers Ralph and Marty Bogle to brothers Allen and Stephen Jewell and Stephen’s wife, Sara, according to a news release.
Attending this 250th landmark closing from Darrell Hess & Associates were Brokers Darrell Hess, Melinda Mimms, Brenda Lang, Karen Williams and Angela Oliver.
The campground is an 88-site facility located just off I-95 north of Fayettevville. The park was established more than 25 years ago.
Hess is an industry veteran, having sold his first campground in 1982 in Florida and has since gone on to become a licensed broker in 10 states in the eastern U.S. The staff of five brokers has been involved with the sale of parks in 25 states.
Hess and staff are sought-after speakers and have conducted workshops for many camping associations.
The firm will present a workshop regarding bank financing titled “They Got It, You Want It, How to Get It” at the 2008 ARVC InSites convention in Nashville, Tenn., in November.
Hess conducted the first “Campground Buyers’ Workshop” in 1985.
