Firm Offers ‘Peek” at Membership Camping
Coast to Coast is launching a new program designed to drive nonmember RVers to its network of hundreds of North American resorts for tours and to educate them on the benefits of membership camping.
The new program, called FreeView, offers nonmembers a “peek behind the gates” to try out private membership camping first-hand through an overnight resort stay and sales presentation.
According to a news release, through the FreeView program, camping enthusiasts have the opportunity to experience a complimentary three-day, two-night resort visit at a premium Coast to Coast CampResort where they will learn the benefits of private membership camping, which includes use of the resort home park facilities, discount rates on campsites nationwide when traveling, access to condo vacation rentals and savings on hotels and cruises. During the stay, they also receive a CampResort tour.
“Not many campgrounds are currently being built, so there’s a lot of competition out there for quality RV sites among RVers,” said Bruce Hoster, president of Coast to Coast Resorts. “Plus, with gas prices climbing, many RVers are staying closer to home. Membership camping provides an innovative solution to this issue, providing outdoor enthusiasts with an amenity-rich, private campground resort to enjoy close to home, as well as a network of more than 450 beautiful resorts to enjoy when traveling.”
Hoster continued, “FreeView provides RVers and outdoor enthusiasts the opportunity to learn why private membership camping is the future of camping.”
A Coast to Coast membership makes it easy to travel safely and comfortably throughout North America, with hundreds of affiliated RV resorts in the United States, Canada and Mexico. Member benefits include a subscription to Coast to Coast Magazine and a number of travel services, with additional benefits that include cabin and condo rentals, trip routing and dining and leisure discounts. Coast to Coast offers RV Tripsetter, a Web and phone reservation system, which provides a simple way to reserve a space. Many membership RV resorts offer additional features and amenities like water parks, fishing and golf.
Coast to Coast was established in 1972 and is owned by and affiliated with Affinity Group Inc. (AGI), which also publishes Woodall’s Campground Management.
