Good Sam Insurance Plan has become naming sponsor of an 11-show series for Affinity Events, a division of Affinity Group Inc. (AGI). For the first time in Affinity Events’ four-year history, an entitlement sponsor has been created, establishing The Good Sam Insurance Plan RV & Boat Super Sale Series, according to a news release.
The Good Sam Insurance Plan, better known as Good Sam Vehicle Insurance Plan or Good Sam VIP, has been exclusively provided by GMAC Insurance for more than 30 years. Now, America’s No. 1 RV insurance specialist expands its reach to the outdoor recreation community, ensuring they are road-ready before driving off the lot by participating onsite at Affinity Events shows from Rhode Island to Colorado.
“We’ve been building relationships with RVers, boaters and motorcyclists for years with our clubs, magazines and websites, but these shows are something else altogether,” said Steve Hedlund, president of Affinity Events. “The shows allow us to create live, in-person communities of people who are passionate about the RV and boating lifestyles. GMAC has been a long standing provider of the Good Sam Insurance Plan and we’re pleased to work with them as a naming sponsor of our retail shows.”
The Good Sam Insurance Plan RV & Boat Super Sale Series began Aug. 7-9 in Denver, Colo. and continued with shows in Richmond, Va., Greensboro, N.C, Des Moines, Iowa, and Kansas City, Kan. Upcoming Good Sam VIP-sponsored shows include:
