LSI Honors Park Owners at Annual Symposium

Leisure Systems Inc., franchisor for the Yogi Bear Jellystone Park camp-resorts, handed out many awards during its annual Symposium Nov. 3-6 in Covington, Ky.
The top award, Camp-Resort of the Year, went to Tabor City. N.C., operated by the Coleman Family.
Other major award winners were:

  • Facility of the Year, Quarryville, Pa.
  • Operator of the Year, Large Park, Bridget Bender, Caledonia, Wis.
  • Operator of the Year, Small Park, Mike and Gina Lenhard, North Hudson, N.Y., and Dave and Marta Landry, Gatlinburg, Tenn.
  • Jim Webb Spirit Award, Scott and Sue Compton, North Java, N.Y.
  • Entrepreneur of the Year, Waller, Texas, and Marion, N.C.
  • Maple Leaf Award, Frank and Steffi Davies, Kingston, Nova Scotia
  • Carroll Award (inspection leader), Tabor City, N.C.
