Michigan Cabin Project Tabled Again
A large-scale campground cabin proposal for Cheboygan County in Michigan was tabled last week for a second time by the county’s planning commission.
Mill Creek Campground proposes to replace 107 campsites with 107 camping cabins, according to the Cheboygan Daily Tribune.
The panel indicated last week that further information was being submitted by the applicant. The proposed project will require an amendment to a special use permit and currently calls for a phased construction plan spanning six years. The property is zoned as lake and stream and agricultural and forestry management districts. Campgrounds are permitted with a special use permit in these districts.
