ARVC Partners With Lowergear.com
The National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (ARVC) has created a partnership with Lowergear.com, an online camping gear rental service, that will directly benefit member parks and the association through a profit sharing incentive program, according to an ARVC news release.
ARVC members that choose to participate in this program will agree to post an ad or direct link to lowergear.com on their online camping reservations form. This will allow camping guests the opportunity to “add on” any last-minute items needed for their upcoming camping trip. If a camper chooses to rent equipment from Lowergear.com, participating parks will receive a 10% finder’s fee from the sale.
“All you have to do is post a link and Lowergear.com takes care of the rest,” ARVC noted.
Park and campground owners that are interested in participating in this program should e-mail Kera Tomlin at email@example.com to sign up. ARVC will then notify Lowergear.com of all interested parks and they will work directly with the park to set up the program.
Based in Scottsdale, Ariz., Lowergear has no storefront retail location; its business is conducted strictly on the web. Camping consumers can visit www.lowergear.com to rent camping equipment ranging from backpacks, tents and cookware to GPS units for RVing or geocaching and telescope equipment for viewing the stars from their campsite.
