Crider to Handle ARVC National PR Program
The National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (ARVC) has hired Jeff Crider as an outside contractor to handle the 2009 regional and national public relations program promoting the RV lifestyle and the business side of RV parks and campgrounds.
Crider will be able to do regional promotions working with the state executives to recommend member parks for inclusion in press releases and for contact by the press. He is working on a planning calendar for 2009.
Linda Profaizer, ARVC CEO, said she is very pleased with the proposal Crider presented to ARVC.
"We will get some immediate publicity from the travel community," she said in a news release. "Jeff knows the industry and knows how to get stories placed with the press."
Crider is well-known as a writer and editor for RV industry publications and is also a seasoned public relations professional with experience managing national and international media relations campaigns for public and private companies. His clients have included Lockheed Martin, United States Filter Corp., the Recreational Park Trailer Industry Association (RPTIA), the Texas Association of Campground Owners (TACO) and MacKinnon Campground Consulting.
He is a frequent writer for Woodall's Campground Management and RVBusiness magazine.
