Revelers Survive Frigid Night at Idaho Park

Texas RV Park Gets Power Restored

It’s been a 12 days of the Christmas season that residents of the Destination Apollo RV Resort in Galveston County, Texas, will not soon forget. Campground Planned for Part of Civil War Site

Officials say a 275-acre swath of land with ties to the Civil War will be protected as a regional park in Loudoun County, Va. The Northern Virginia Regional Park Authority will buy the tract along the Potomac River north of Leesburg, Va., according to thedailyexpress.com. Ohio Parks Adds Lodges to Gift Card Eligibility

The Ohio state park system has added eight luxury resort lodges to facilities that accept state park gift cards. Effective Jan. 1, Ohio State Park gift cards may be redeemed at Ohio’s resort lodges, including Burr Oak, Deer Creek, Hueston Woods, Maumee Bay, Mohican, Punderson, Salt Fork and Shawnee.
