A supermarket and two retail stores could replace an RV campground in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.
Plans submitted by the owners of the campground, West Palm Beach-based Live Oak Land Hood Road LLC, show a 46,000-square-foot supermarket with a pharmacy on the 10-acre parcel, according to the Palm Beach Post.
The city’s planning and zoning board on Jan. 13 unanimously recommended approval. First reading of the plan by the city council is Feb. 19. A second reading is required for final approval.
The Palm Beach Gardens RV Park has been an RV park since 1978. Live Oak Land purchased the property in 2007 for $4.2 million, county records show. The city is located north of Miami.
