Canada Launches Go RVing Campaign
Go RVing Canada has officially launched brand new advertisements to kick off the Spring 2009 RV season, according to TravelVideo.TV.
“We are really excited about these new ads as we enter the Spring season”, said Alana Fontaine, Go RVing spokesperson. “They really portray our important message of bringing families together and will hit home for many individuals.”
The ads will air on major television networks across Canada such as CBC, CTV, E! Canada, The Weather Network, The Discovery Channel, TSN and HGTV. Radio spots will also be heard throughout the entire nation.
Fontaine said that Go RVing has received incredibly positive feedback during the first week of the launch. “There is nothing more valuable to families than spending time together,” said Fontaine, “and an RV holiday provides the ideal setting to reconnect with each other.”
Studies have shown that families who RV together spend more time together. In fact, 90% of RV owners say that it is the best way to travel with kids.
The ads are being released at the perfect time, as RV shows are being held across the country, with record-breaking attendance figures, she said.
Across Canada, RV prices are at an eight-year low for Canadian consumers.
The Go RVing coalition was formed in 1997, and consists of RV manufacturers, RV dealers and campground operators. The coalition serves as the Canadian RV camping industry ambassador to provide the public and media with information about the benefits of RV travel. The coalition also seeks to enhance consumer information and satisfaction with the RV experience.
