KOA Seeks Outside Help for Branding Effort

Kampgrounds of America Inc. (KOA), a franchise of about 450 campgrounds across North America, recently hired JMPR for a brand awareness initiative.
The agency was hired on a three-month basis with the option to extend the contract after that time, said Mike Gast, KOA vice president of communications. JMPR and KOA recently worked together on a partnership with Airstream, a client of the agency.
“There will be more to come as plans come together, but that’s about it for now,” Gast told Woodall’s Campground Management. “We just wanted a little more horsepower than what we can do in house to get the brand message out to a wider, non-industry audience.”
KOA recently launched a partnership with Airstream to provide Airstream travel trailers for rent at three KOA campgrounds.
