LSI Adds 2 New Jellystone Parks to Franchise
Leisure Systems Inc. (LSI), franchiser of 71 Jellystone Park Camp-Resorts in the U.S. and Canada, has added two new parks to its national roster in Austin, Minn., and Memphis, Tenn.
“Travelers are looking for more vacations that are economical, family-oriented and close to home,” said Rob Schutter, LSI president and COO, in a news release. “We’re very pleased to be able to bring the Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park experience to southwest Minnesota and Memphis where residents can now camp with friends in a brand new way.”
Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp-Resort at Beaver Trails is one of the largest and finest campgrounds in the state of Minnesota and for the first time will open for the season on April 15 as part of the Jellystone Park system. Owners Don and Laura Tolner are thrilled to be part of the franchise.
“We’re now part of a family of elite park owners,” said Laura Tolner. “Park owners from across the country have offered us advice and shared their enthusiasm for this brand. We can’t wait to open our doors in April to offer guests a whole new Yogi Bear experience.”
The new Jellystone Park Camp-Resort at Beaver Trails offers campers the ultimate water vacation with a slide pool, large swimming pool, kiddie pool and stocked fishing ponds. Campers also will be busy on land with mini-golf, train station, hayrides, petting pens, horseshoes and bean bag throws and much more. The park also features a different theme each weekend with various special activities planned for campers.

Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp-Resort is located five miles from Memphis and offers easy access to all that is offered in the surrounding areas. The park is open all year long but will officially open as a Jellystone Park in late May. Owners Keith and Penny Russell are working to renovate the facility to include all the amenities and activities that a Jellystone Park has to offer its guests.
“Our partnership with the Jellystone Park franchise has enabled us to transform our park into everything we’ve always envisioned it could be,” said Keith Russell. “We’re now a destination park offering luxury cabins and daily activities for children. We couldn’t be happier with this new partnership and look forward to continue helping our guests make lifetime memories.”
Previously an RV campground only, the new Jellystone Park at Audubon Point offers a broad range of camping luxuries including the introduction of new cabin lodges, a variety of activities in the pavilion, themed weeks and weekends as well as a swimming pool, recreation room, shuffleboard, playground, picnic area, mini-mart, cable TV, Wi-Fi and much more.
