Branson KOA to Unveil Renovated Campground
The grand re-opening of the Branson KOA Kampground will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1, to celebrate the completion of more than $500,000 worth of renovations, according to owners Ralph and Kim Newell
Branson KOA has upgraded sites with the addition of deluxe patio sites. These specialty sites include landscaped concrete pads with patio furniture and personal fireplaces.
Other upgrades include more than 30 patio sites; 30- to 50-amp service at every site, Wi-Fi throughout the park and the addition of 10 Kamping Kabins and three KOA Lodges.
New services for campers include a pontoon boat and golf cart rental, breakfast served seven days a week in season and shuttle service to area shows and attractions. A jumping pillow – the first of its kind for Missouri campgrounds – has been added to provide even more fun for all. Four-legged campers will enjoy the new Kamp K9 pet playground area.
The KOA Kafé features pizza, ice cream, homemade fudge, gifts, souvenirs and a large selection of RV parts and accessories.
A few unique features added to this park include an ornate gazebo, elegant patio next to the KOA Kafé, upscale bathrooms and energy- efficient devices.
Campers can take advantage of the All-Summer Special: kids stay free June 15 through Aug. 31.
Branson KOA has been the recipient of several awards in its short tenure. These include the KOA President’s award for 2007 and 2008; Top 300 Campgrounds by Trailer Life; 5W status by Woodall’s; and Best Branson Convention Center Award for 2007 and 2008.
Facilities include more than 150 full-hookup 50-amp sites, cable TV and Wi-Fi and rental units featuring Kamping Kabins, Kottages and Lodges, many with bathrooms.
The groups/reunion facilities include a 7,000-square-foot convention center, meeting room and pavilion. There’s also an event planner to assist with catering, entertainment and transportation needs for groups, rallies and family reunions.
