Missouri Campground Association Updates Website
The Missouri Association of RV Parks & Campgrounds (MOARC) has redesigned its website at www.CampInMissouri.com and updated the website’s roster of upcoming festivals and other special events in time for the summer camping season.
“We think the redesigned website will help increase consumer awareness about the variety of campgrounds in Missouri, as well as the many fun family oriented activities that are available throughout the state,” said Linda Alcorn, MOARC executive director stated in a news release.
The website’s easy-to-use search function, designed by Texas Advertising in Crowley, Texas, gives consumers the ability to quickly find campgrounds with cabins as well as RV and tent sites. Consumers with big rigs can also search for campgrounds with pull through sites, 50-amp electrical hookups and wireless Internet or Wi-Fi service.
“Campgrounds can also be sorted by city and by their proximity to nearly 200 major landmarks and tourist attractions, from the Jesse James Museum to the Ozark Trail,” Alcorn said, adding that the website also includes a search function to help consumers identify campgrounds that offer float trips
For families who are looking for fun things to see and do, the website also includes a calendar section with detailed information on upcoming food, music and art and craft festivals and other special events, including state and county fairs, civil war period re-enactments and exhibitions, guided nature walks and free fishing weekends at state parks.
CampInMissouri.com also includes listings of RV dealers and camping and RV related companies that are affiliated with the Missouri association.
