New Carolina RV Park Gets High Guest Marks
Carrollwoods Campground was sold out for the Fourth of July and RV campers are giving the campground and staff the highest scores on satisfaction, according to NorthMyrtleBeach.com
The holiday weekend was the first real test of the newest RV park campground in the Coastal Carolina area. Not only was Carrollwoods sold out of campsites but also the inn was full as well. Visitors came from as far as Canada and as close as Little River and Myrtle Beach. Carrollwoods surveys its guests and received glowing ratings from each and every camper.
Over the holiday, 65% of the campers visiting the new park were veterans. Present were two Army first sergeants, a major, an Army command sergeant major and a Marine helicopter door gunner, to name a few.
Guests enjoyed an ice cream social, a movie on the lawn, a water balloon fight and a patriotic bike and golf cart parade as well as horseback rides. Many guests also visited the vineyard for wine tasting as well as drink specials.
Just 16 miles to the north of North Myrtle Beach, Carrollwoods is co-located with the Grapefull Sisters Vineyard and the Inn d' Vine bed and breakfast. The resort offers wide open spaces, games, fishing, grills, picnic tables, horse rides, horse riding classes, buggy rides and wine tasting.
