The Montana Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) has settled its administrative enforcement against Eight Acre Woods LLC for violations of the Montana Public Water Supply laws at Jim and Mary’s RV Park near Missoula, according to The Clark Fork Chronicle.

In its enforcement action, the DEQ alleged that the company exceeded the non-acute maximum contaminant level for total coliform bacteria in December 2008, and February and March 2009, and failed to report and give public notice of the violations as required by the law.

To resolve the violations, Eight Acre Woods provided public notice and completed corrective actions to return the system to compliance with the law.
