LadderLog-action1Commercial Recreation Specialists (CRS) announced availability of the commercial-grade Aquaglide Platinum Jungle Joe, according to a news release from Ron Romens, president of CRS. “This type of floating jungle gym is a totally new concept for the water,” said Romens. Jungle Joe is a multi-tiered climbing structure with challenges for all ages – as well as interior splash zones that can be used as gathering places to play or for younger children to rest up before tackling their next climbing challenge. Designed as a modular system, Jungle Joe consists of four components that can be attached in a variety of configurations. Jungle Joe’s main section is 12 feet long, 8 feet wide and 7 1/2 feet high with optional attachments including a Slide, Ladder Log and Apex. The 8-foot-long Apex can be attached to the top of Jungle Joe, adding another tier to the climbing canopy, raising the roof to just over 10 feet. Apex can also be added to the side of the main structure, expanding Jungle Joe horizontally in a monkey bar-style. After a climb to the top of the Apex, users can climb across Jungle Joe or drop to the water below, plunging through over 7 feet of vertical space. Next, the 8-foot-long, 14-foot high Ladder Log provides another access point from the water, either angled against the side or laying flat across the water. The third attachment is the 9 1/2-foot-long, 7-foot-high Jungle Joe Slide. Vernoa, Wis.-based CRS serves a number of markets, including RV parks and campgrounds.
