Atlanta Motor Speedway RV Campsites Filling Up
A limited number of campsites are available in Atlanta Motor Speedway’s three newest campgrounds for the Kobalt Tools 500 race weekend this March, according to paddocktalk.com.
The Legends Reserved Tent, Elliott Reserved and Elliott Reserved Handicapped campgrounds have just a select number of spaces available for campers looking for prime real estate for the Kobalt Tools 500 race weekend. Availability is most scarce in the Elliott Reserved Handicapped Campground, where only a few spaces remain.
Created in May 2009 to accommodate advance demand surrounding Atlanta Motor Speedway’s first Labor Day Weekend of night racing, the Speedway’s newest campsites provide proximity to the track and locations walking distance from the Display Lot.
Atlanta Motor Speedway’s Elliott Reserved and Elliott Reserved Handicapped Campgrounds are located directly behind the Elliott Grandstand overlooking Turn 3, providing direct access for fans with Elliott Grandstand tickets. Each RV spot is approximately 45 feet long by 25 feet wide and costs just $150.
The Legends Reserved Tent Campground is located between Atlanta Motor Speedway’s main entrance and the Legends Campground. With more than 230 campsites with dimensions of 20 feet by 30 feet for $125, the Legends Reserved Tent Campground is one of the most desired camping locations on the Atlanta Motor Speedway property with close proximity to the Display Lot.
In addition to Atlanta Motor Speedway’s newest campgrounds, very few Trackside Terrace Luxury RV spots remain available and include10 tickets, 10 pit passes and full RV hookups for a 50 feet by 25 feet RV location overlooking the track for $7,000 annually. A limited number of infield spots are available in the Flock Bros. Corral Campground, featuring 40 feet by 15 feet RV spots for $500 annually.
