Woodall's 2010 campground directory coverTrailer Life publications, publisher of the most comprehensive and reliable directories for RV parks, campgrounds and services, releases the new 2010 Trailer Life Campground Navigator on CD-ROM. The new set is the ultimate travel planning and campground search software program for RVers, according to a news release.

The 2010 Campground Navigator 2-CD set includes all of the information found in the Trailer Life RV Parks & Campgrounds Directory, the most widely recognized and used RVing directory in North America ( The easy-to-use Campground Navigator software includes comprehensive details on more than 11,500 RV parks and campgrounds, all the Good Sam Club discount locations, detailed street maps, driving directions and a searchable database of RV park amenities that mean the most to RVers.

“With more RVers hitting the road every day, tools for trip planning and sources for RV park information are in high demand,” said Joe Daquino, senior vice president and group publisher, Affinity Media, the parent company for Trailer Life publications. “Finding an expert resource like Trailer Life Directory, with more than 37 years of RVing history, is of great value to both new and long time RVers. The 2010 RV Campground Navigator on CD is a compact, powerful travel planning tool that helps people spend more time enjoying the camping experience rather than trying to map out campgrounds and destinations.”

The new additions for 2010 allow travelers to set up a Personal Profile with customized travel preferences, such as drive times, rest breaks and route types for every trip. The Campground Navigator also includes Interstate exit information, from the 2010 Exit Now: Interstate Exit Directory, so RVers will know which exit has their favorite restaurants, gas stations, restrooms and ATMs.

Upgraded features also include road slope and stop point elevations on maps of every state, county and city in the U.S. and Canada, and an easy GPS interface connects campground locations to users’ navigation systems.

Trailer Life publications also announced the 2010 Trailer Life RV Parks & Campgrounds Directory top 300 campgrounds in North America, offering RVers invaluable insight into North America’s best RV parks and campgrounds operating today. Vacation planning is that much easier knowing that these are top-rated, ‘cream of the crop’ locations and is a great recommendation when choosing where to stay. Teams of Trailer Life trained consultants inspected parks throughout North America using the Directory’s Exclusive Triple Rating-300 of which received a nearly perfect rating of 27.5 and above out of a total ratings score of 30.

The Directory’s Exclusive Triple Rating system has become the industry standard. Each year, new inspections are performed on all privately owned RV parks and campgrounds, encouraging parks to do even more to earn Trailer Life Directory’s highest recommendations. Each park is inspected and rated based on completeness of facilities, cleanliness of restrooms, visual appeal and environmental quality to provide RVers with a basis for selecting the campground that best meets their needs.

Ratings are on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the best. Only 17 parks and campgrounds received a rating of 10/10/10 (30); for a complete list of parks, visit Life Top Rated 365 Parks.pdf.

The 2010 Campground Navigator 2 CD-ROM Set and the Trailer Life RV Parks & Campgrounds Directory are produced by Affinity Media, a division of Affinity Group Inc. (AGI), the nation’s largest provider of outdoor recreation clubs, services, media and events. Both are official directories of the Good Sam Club, the world’s largest RV owner’s organization with nearly one million member families, and the premier source to find all the Good Sam discount locations.
