AuSable River Campsite near Keeseville, N.Y., ranked by Fodor’s as one of New York state’s top 10 campgrounds in 2006, has launched a completely new, redesigned website at

The new website offers campers a downloadable map of the campground, an interactive events calendar, dozens of new photo images of the campground, online reservations, Google Maps with directions to the campgrounds and the opportunity to register for a free two-night stay at AuSable River Campsite, according to a news release.

Robert Stoeckert, owner of the campsite, commented, “We are very excited to announce the launch of our redesigned website. The new website takes advantage of the latest in website technology to create a much more engaging and interactive visitor experience. We’ve added a Flash banner on the home page that rotates images of the amazing Adirondack landscape along the AuSable River.”

David Pearce, president of Responsible Marketing in Plattsburgh, N.Y., and website designer added, “It was a pleasure and an honor for me to be part of this great new website for an amazing campground. As a seasonal camper, I was able to capture the essence of the campsite and create what I hope will be a website that leads campers to experience the beauty and fun of AuSable River Campsite. The Stoeckerts have done a wonderful job of making their campground one of the best – I highly recommend it.”

Stoeckert continued, “The new website uses an embedded Google Calendar where we feature our daily and weekly activities for the summer season. Visitors can also download a complete list of our events and activities as well as a campsite map to help campers pick a site to suit their needs. We’ve also added new pictures and information for all of our rental cabins and rental campers, updated site and rental fees as well as campsite rules and policies.”

“We also have added a links page where we provide links to Adirondack attractions and tourist destinations. New too, is a page about our wireless Internet, or Wi-Fi, availability and fees. One of the most popular pages thus far has been our camper’s photo gallery – you send us your pictures from your stay and we’ll add them to the gallery. There’s also a convenient link to enable visitors to easily make online reservations. Even if you don’t make an online reservation while visiting our website, at least register your name to win a free two-night stay on us,” Robert Stoeckert concluded.
