ReV Up In Reno Deadline Extended to April 9
Sponsors of the second ReV up in Reno campground conference April 19 – 21 at John Ascuaga’s Nugget Casino Hotel in Reno, Nev., have announced additional details.
The conference is sponsored by state associations from California, Arizona, Oregon and Idaho.
In addition to the two new seminars listed below, several others have been rescheduled. Check here for the lastest seminar line-up and schedule.
Coping with Generational Diversity
For the first time in U.S. history, there are four defined and diverse generations in the workplace at the same time. These generations are: Traditionalists, Baby Boomers, Generation X and Generation Y. On the surface, this may not appear to be an issue. However, the differences among these generations in the way they approach work, work/life balance, employee loyalty, authority and other important issues can often cause conflict, creating morale and productivity issues.
This course will include defining the generations and identifying their values and goals to create an awareness of the challenges so that skills can be developed for effective communication and to manage conflict resolution productively.
NEW California Requirement for an Emergency & Evacuation Plan
With all the recent wildfires and other natural disasters that plague California, beginning September 2010, California will require that all RV parks and campgrounds have an emergency &and evacuation plan. Bryan Tolli of Evergreen USA will walk you through a template and help get you on your way to completing this requirement. Download the template in advance to your laptop, bring it with you and really jump start your own plan.
