Oregon State Parks Offer Free Camping Night
Free tent and recreational vehicle camping will be offered Saturday (June 5) at Oregon State Parks campgrounds across the state as part of the 13thAOregon State Parks Day, according to the Mail Tribune, Medford, Ore.
Visitors will get full hookup, electrical hookup and conventional sites for gratis, but those seeking reservations will still be required to pay the $8 fee, and regular rates will be charged for yurts, cabins, horse camps and group sights.
Also, day-use fees will be waived at the 26 state parks where parking passes are required.
Stewart State Park will be one of several parks that will host camper-appreciation barbecues.
