RV Park Owner Gets Relief, Then An Admonition
Ask for some understanding from your municipal water provider and you could be surprised over what can happen.
Owners of the Grape Creek RV Park near Westcliffe, Colo, found that out earlier this month when they asked the Round Mountain Water and Sanitation District board to adjust its water bill due to a service line freezing, the Wet Mountain Tribune reported.
Following discussion, the board reduced the bill from $3,000 to $520.
Meanwhile, the board also wrote a letter to the property owner saying the water lines on his property must be replaced to comply with its standards, which would help to avoid future line freezing.
