Heavy rain forced Apple Creek Campground northeast of Green Bay, Wis., to evacuate on July 15, but now as waters recede the campground reopened over the weekend, WFRC News, Green Bay, reported.

The campground is still showing signs of heavy flooding. However, retreating water is allowing campground employees to start cleanup operations.

Seasonal campers are also being allowed back in.

Workers at the campground say the front is open and dry. The pool, rec hall, and video game room are all open as well. They also note that the water supply has been inspected by the health department and OK’d.
