New Brunswick Seeks Campground Uniformity
The province of New Brunswick is currently reviewing policies in place for all of its owned and operated campground parks. The goal is to create a uniform policy for campers who want to experience all the provincial parks across New Brunswick, according to the Times & Transcript, Fredericton.
For example, the rules for how many tents are permitted on each camping site varies from location to location. There are also different fees and charges at each campground.
Department spokesman Ryan Donaghy said there’s a broad theme to be found in provincial campground policies, but said the office is aware of the differences, and that some complaints had been received.
