RV Fires at Campground Darken Wisconsin Music Fest

An overnight fire that may have started with a leaking LP tank destroyed two camping trailers and damaged two others at the north VIP campground at the Rock Fest campgrounds near Cadott, Wis., according to the Eau Claire Leader-Telegram.

A 1985 26-foot Fleetwood motorhome owned by Tony Thomas, of Duluth, Wis., and a 2010 Jayco tent camper owned by Pleasureland RV of Ramy, Minn., were destroyed in the fire, reported at 12:36 a.m. today.

No injuries were reported in the fire, which was brought under control at 1:02 a.m. Firefighters from Chippewa Falls, Cadott and Jim Falls responded to the fire.

A 2000 Dodge Durango and a 1999 Jayco trailer were also damaged in the fire.
