Fire Destoys 3 RVs at Myrtle Beach Campground
A fire that destroyed three recreational vehicles and damaged another one at a local storage facility in Myrtle Beach, S.C., remains under investigation, said Leslie Yancey, spokeswoman for Horry County Fire Rescue.
Firefighters were called to the storage area at Pirateland Campground at 3 p.m. Sunday (Aug. 1), Yancey said. Three RVs were destroyed and a fourth sustained damage in the fire, the Myrtle Beach Suns News reported.
Myrtle Beach firefighters provided mutual aid to Horry County crews and no one was hurt during the incident. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
