HGTV Shooting ‘RV 2011’ at Hershey Show
For the 13th consecutive year, Home and Garden Television Network (HGTV) is planning a one-hour special on RV innovations and product trends and will be shooting footage at the Pennsylvania Recreation Vehicle and Camping Show in Hershey, Pa., Sept. 15-19.
“RV 2011” is scheduled to air next March and will re-air several times throughout the year. Chi-Lan Lieu — a self-proclaimed karaoke addict and gadget geek — will be hostess of the show.
“HGTV’s access to ‘America’s Largest RV Show’ in Hershey, Pa., is valuable to creating the network’s annual special about RVs. HGTV’s RV 2011, which will premiere next spring, will feature exciting new RV trends, the latest models and features that our viewers are eager to see,” said Bill Myers, director of original programming at HGTV.
America’s Largest RV Show, sponsored by the Pennsylvania RV and Camping Association (PRVCA), is the first show in the nation with 2011 products with an estimated 900 RVs on display as well as over 120 booth vendors. Many new products will be making their debut at the RV show making it an attraction for industry, public and media outlets.
“We are always excited that HGTV chooses to film their program at America’s Largest RV Show,” said Rebecca Lenington, PRVCA executive vice president. “It’s a great way for everyone to see what’s new and exciting in the world of RVing.”
