A permit for an RV park on the southeast side of Kearney, Neb., has been approved, the Kearney Hub reported.

During its regular meeting on Oct. 15, the Kearney Planning Commission approved a conditional use permit to operate an 80-site recreational vehicle park on 15.16 acres along the north side of the north channel of the Platte River east of Avenue M.

The park will have an office, laundry and shower building and approximately 35 RV pads. It will be served with municipal water and sanitary sewer. An adjacent water main and sanitary sewer lift station are also in the plans.
