ARVC Education is on the Move

Over the past three months Education Director Barb Youmans has been working with staff, board members and ARVC members to learn what changes need to be made to the education programs offered by ARVC. Dedicated to putting together a program that works for our industry and is a true benefit for members, she is very interested in engaging members throughout the educational improvement process. As new items are developed, they will be posted on the ARVC website Education Page and can be accessed through the “Education Improvement Plan Updates” link.

Also available on the Educational Programs page of is the 2010 ARVC National Operations Survey Report which can be downloaded free for members or purchased at the ARVC Store in hardcopy or for nonmembers. This report can be helpful in identifying and tracking industry trends and in benchmarking individual parks against industry norms.

InSites 2010 proved to be very successful. As requested by many of you the handouts and presentations for this year’s seminars are now available for download on the Educational Programs page of Review them all or pick out your favorites.
