Editor’s Note: The following information comes from the current issue of the California Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (CalARVC) Wednesday Morning Coffee Talk & Updates.

The National Parks Promotion Council facilitated a teleconference in mid-December to gather suggestions on how to improve Fee Free Days in the national parks. That teleconference was helpful in providing suggestions for the 2011 schedule of Fee Free Days.

A second online teleconference is planned for Jan. 11 at 1 p.m. Eastern, to generate additional suggestions from state tourism offices, gateway communities, cooperating and friends associations, destination marketing organizations (DMOs), park concessioners and other park-related businesses.

The teleconference can accommodate up to 100 participants. To participate in this discussion, click here.

After registering, registrants will receive a confirmation e-mail containing information about joining the event.
