The New York state Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) might be breaking ground in more than one way soon on the shores of Schroon Lake near the town of Chester, the Glens Falls Post-Star reported. Sales figures from the first three months of the new Michigan Recreation Passport show increasing participation by motorists who are renewing their vehicle license plates through the secretary of state, according to a news release from the Department of Natural Resources and Environment.
