The Occupational Safety and Health Administration ( OSHA) fined Stephen Bodnar of Berwick $7,500 for violations that led to the collapse that killed James Berry in April of last year.

Bodnar and Berry were working in a trench at the future site of the Bodnarosa Motel and Campground along Route 11 near Berwick when the walls caved in, trapping them. Bodnar was hurt and Berry was killed.
