Tie Vote Scuttles RV Park Plan for Now

In an emotionally charged meeting of the city of Kingsville , Texas, Planning and Zoning Commission Wednesday night (Jan. 19) , plans for a recreational vehicle park on the north bank of Escondido Creek between Highway 77 Bypass and Dick Kleberg Park were put on hold.

That outcome evolved following a tie vote of the Planning and Zoning Commission to rezone the property from single family residential to commercial, the Kingsville Record reported.
