For many years, attendees at the National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (ARVC) convention were offered an opportunity to tour top-notch parks, getting a behind-the-scenes look at their successful operations by the park owners and operators themselves, in ARVC’s annual convention city – affectionately called POOT – Park Operators on Tour.

As ARVC proceeds to rebrand its annual event, it is pairing that with moving forward with a fresh name for the park tours and inviting ARVC members to rename this popular annual tour, according to a news release.

“So a challenge is issued,” writes Barb Youmans, senior director of administration and education.” Submit your new POOT name suggestion(s) to me at byoumans@arvc.orgno later than Friday, April 15. We’ll review all entries and the member that submits the chosen name will not only have the satisfaction of renaming the tour but will receive a complimentary registration to the 2011 Park Tour.

For more information about any of the educational programs please contact: Barb Youmans, senior director of administration and education, (303) 681-0401 ext. 18,
